For State House
Economic security for District 27 begins with a living wage, not a minimum wage. Having worked minimum wage jobs, I know how hard it can be to make ends meet. The residents of District 27 deserve a voice in Pierre who will stand up for working people.
As a board member of the National Indian Education Association and Oglala Lakota College, I know the value of investing in our schools. As the District 27 representative, I will work with area schools to develop initiatives to improve our graduation rates and facilitate state and tribal coordination through T.E.D.N.A.
We must invest in our greatest and most renewable natural resource, wind. We can attach Green Collar Jobs and bring private investment into the area by passing “Next Energy” tax credits for companies seeking to expand efforts that turn wind into power. Working with the Oglala Sioux Tribe we can make District 27 an industry leader in alternative and green energy.
